Dr. Gaurav Muktesh
Dr Gaurav Muktesh is an experienced gastroenterologist who has done his MD in internal medicine from University college of medical sciences (UCMS), Delhi University and his gastroenterology fellowship (DM Gastroenterology) from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI) Chandigarh which is a 2000 bedded tertiary care academic center of national importance in India.
He was a visiting fellow at Academic medical center, Amsterdam, Netherlands and he also cleared European Specialty Certificate Examination in Gastroenterology and Hepatology (ESEGH) conducted by British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) and the European Section and Board of Gastroenterology (ESBGH) in the first attempt exemplifying international standards.
He worked as a faculty at PGI Chandigarh and was a mentor to budding gastroenterologists; training them in clinical gastroenterology and advanced endoscopic procedures. He has performed over 10,000 endoscopic procedures including complex interventional endoscopic procedures in his career including endoscopies, colonoscopies, ERCPs, endoscopic ultrasound and peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM).
He is one of the few gastroenterologists in UAE who is highly skilled and proficient in the field of Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and related procedures.
He has been an invited speaker and faculty in the field of endoscopy and he has numerous international publications to his credit.
